Crossroads Mastiffs is located in the sandhills of North Carolina, just outside the city of Fayetteville. We live on 13 beautifully wooded acres where our dogs have a lot of room to run.
My husband, Dennis has served more than 22 years in the military. He was first a Marine and is now stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, with 7th Special Forces Group.
I work as a real estate agent in Fayetteville and the surrounding area. With the military base nearby this is a busy real estate market, but my schedule stays flexible enough to allow me plenty of time to spend with my precious mastiffs.
We have two wonderful daughters (ages 16 and 15). One of our daughters loves the dogs, the other one simply tolerates them. She would be the first to tell you "the slobber is just too much".
I acquired my first mastiff with the intention of just having a loving pet and possibly showing occasionally. Within the first month of having a mastiff in my life I became a full fledged mastiff addict. I love these beautiful, innocent creatures! I feel strongly committed to the health and safety of my dogs and the mastiff breed in general.
I am strongly opposed to puppy mills, backyard breeders, and pet shops selling poorly bred, ill-tempered mastiffs to uninformed puppy buyers who end up paying a high price, both financially and emotionally.
I plan to breed very occasionally and only when I feel it is a pairing that will produce sound, healthy, even tempered puppies. My puppy buyers will be carefully screened before they are given the opportunity to own any puppy I've produced.
I am always willing to answer questions and provide information to those new to the mastiff breed. If I don't know the answer, I can certainly find someone who does. Feel free to call me at 910-867-0835.
